RUN 1812 - AUSTRALIA DAY HASH

Weather cool but dry which considering all the wet weather over past few days a great improvement

The run the annual Australian day run was as usual set by HAMISH and begun with a glass of OZ wine and their favourite snack VEGEMITE

Quite a few came all looking forward to running down south

So at 11.21 FAIR COP called all to order and HAMISH gave the required information do that hopefully no one would get lost

The pack led by THRICE NITELY closely followed by REAR ENTRY charged away

HAMISH bless him had set the run in green flower ( or was it flour ) so we all hoped no parkland ahead

MAD DOG started sprinting maybe the thought of the bucket took over

COKE DEALER started asking when would we be back at the circle cause the ancient MT GOAT was sure suffering

Meanwhile I understand back at the start the sleep of our esteemed hash cash WET DREAM was interrupted by the arrival of OXY in his OXYMOBILE

So by the time all returned there was OXY in full flight asking why all were taking so much time to go round such a simple course which he could have done in half the time all others took

And to the circle - so much idle chatter - next weeks run Immitos - new tees costing an amazing 15 euro BOUBILINA demanded 8 !!

And then off to the Souvlali Taverna - all went apart from myself - a great location masses of food and wine - understand eventual cost 11 euro a head future hares take note

So a great day was had by all
