THE DIRECTIONS (For the record)
Monday 26th December – 11am
we will join the BOXING DAY WALK
the Attaché's Arms welcomes you to Mount Penteli
Venue: PENTELI
The Attachés Arms, the oldest and highest pub in Athens est. 1957 and open just one day a year is getting ready to welcome you once again.
The families of, James Greene, Adrian Kouyoufas, Captain Richard Blackwell continue to ensure the continuation of this fine tradition.
So, the Attaches Arms will once again pitch its tent, fire its burners and it will be "business as usual" serving the traditional "Boxing Day Walk" Mulled Wine and Rum Punch on Pendeli – same place [see map] – same time (11:30-14:00 or until we run out of wine and rum!).
Feel free to circulate this to anyone you think might enjoy this outing.
Last year on the walk we collected donations which went to «Το Χαμόγελο του παιδιού», a non profit organisation which, amongst other activities, run homes in many Greek cities for orphaned children and for children from very poor families that cannot provide for them.
They were most grateful.
Please give generously again this year.
Happy Christmas and see you on Boxing Day
And all the best for 2017
